Press Release
The work of the Intellegens team has been rewarded with two pieces of industry recognition. The company was highly commended in the Startup of the Year section at the Cambridge Independent Science and Technology awards. And a global industry report identified Intellegens as a key player in the emerging federated learning market.
At last week’s Cambridge Independent Science and Technology Awards, Intellegens was nominated in the Startup of the Year category, sponsored by Kao Data. And the company was highly commended in this category for its innovative solutions in machine learning, enabling businesses to unlock value in sparse, noisy data and to solve key problems in the materials and chemicals industries, drug discovery, manufacturing, and data science. Intellegens CEO, Ben Pellegrini, welcomed the recognition: “Thanks to our brilliant team, our wonderful customers, investors and partners for being part of our journey.”
Intellegens also featured in a recent global market analysis report covering emerging solutions for federated learning, alongside major names such as Microsoft, Google, and IBM. The Federated Learning Solutions Market report from analysts Markets and Markets predicts rapid growth in this area, and discusses some of its challenges, including the difficulty businesses face in building the skilled teams required to implement these technologies. Intellegens is identified as a key market player.
The Ichnite™ software builds machine learning models using data stored in completely separate, and often private, data sources. This enables organisations to exploit data stored in different silos, and enables collaborations that can build and share knowledge, without needing to share the supporting confidential data. By delivering these solutions in a ready-to-use software platform, Ichnite makes it much easier for businesses to develop their federated learning capabilities.
