In our ‘Meet the team’ series, we’ve been introducing you to some of the people behind the Intellegens software. In this post, we’re featuring Sebas from our development team. 1. How long have you been working at Intellegens and what is your position/role?
I joined Intellegens in September 2019. Since then, I have been mainly working on our backend services as well as supporting frontend and devops work.
2. What is your favourite part about working at Intellegens?
Given we’re a relatively small team it’s easy to make suggestions and be involved in a wide range of projects. As a developer I can be involved in almost all aspects of our software development process.
3. What is your career/education background?
After completing my bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and master’s degree Artificial Intelligence, I looked for an interesting software development job in the field of Machine Learning. This is exactly what I’ve found at Intellegens.
4. What is something that you think makes Intellegens stand out from other companies?
Intellegens works very closely with customers to shape the development of our product. Our specialized in-house developed Machine Learning algorithm sets us apart from other off-the-shelf Machine Learning algorithm service providers.
5. What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
A bit of hiking, trying out new and interesting tech, having a laugh with friends and, in recent days, my fair share of putting furniture together!
