Meet the Team
The latest in our our ‘Meet the team’ series is Yijing, who has recently joined Intellegens as we invest in our project delivery function. This will ensure that we continue to work closely and efficiently with customers, supporting them to implement Intellegens software, roll it out across project teams, and apply it effectively to key development challenges. We’re really pleased that Yijing is bringing her project management skills to this role.
1. How long have you been working at Intellegens and what is your position/role?
I just (January 2022) joined Intellegens as Project Delivery Manager. My role is to make a connection between our internal teams and our customers and to promote an efficient and smooth project delivery.
2. What is your favourite part about working at Intellegens?
Getting the chance to manage exciting projects around the world and work with a squad of smart and supportive people. I feel the fast pace since my first day here, challenging but exciting. Everyday I learn new things and everyone is friendly and always ready to answer my questions and help me catch up.
3. What is your career/education background?
I have a BSc in Psychology and MSc in Project Management. Before I came to the UK I worked in a video internet company in China, delivering software development projects.
4. What is something that you think makes Intellegens stand out from other companies?
The primary thing that makes a company stand out from others is always the core technology it owns. With a focus on real-life applications, Intellegens benefits our customers not only by delivering immediate economic advantages, but also by helping them to consider sustainability and more long-term aspects of their products and processes.
5. What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
I love travelling and going to concerts with my family and friends. Since the pandemic, I also found some new interests that I can follow on my own, including Lego – I have huge Hogwarts and Disney castles back home in China and plan to build more.
It sounds like Yijing is working on those project management skills even in her leisure time!
