Intellegens chosen for Build - UK India programme
Intellegens is one of just 4 UK businesses selected to work alongside giants of Indian and UK industry such as Tata Steel, Johnson Matthey, and Godrej Aerospace in a new project focused on achieving net zero manufacturing and transforming supply chains.
Supported by the Digital Catapult initiative, the Build UK – India programme is partnering a group of cutting-edge UK tech companies with Indian industry leaders to enable projects that will reduce energy and resource consumption in manufacturing processes. Intellegens will support the programme through its Alchemite™ machine learning technology, which can learn from experimental and process data to identify optimal process and manufacturing parameters – for example, in order to lower energy or water usage.
David Pugh, Head of Sustainability at Digital Catapult, comments “These four companies represent the leading-edge of UK cleantech startups set to reshape the future of industry by tapping into the power of advanced digital technologies to help big businesses reduce waste, reduce emissions, and reduce harm to the environment.”
Ben Pellegrini, CEO at Intellegens, adds: “We’re really pleased to be involved with this cleantech program. Having developed our tools to optimise materials and chemicals for performance, cost or time savings we are now working with partners to reduce harm to the environment.”
