R&D teams speed onboarding, reduce experimentation, and generate new insights
Cambridge, UK – May 22nd, 2024 – Intellegens today announced the 2024 Spring Release of the Alchemite™ machine learning (ML) software, focused on enhancing the productivity of R&D teams in chemicals, materials, formulated products, life sciences, and manufacturing. Optimised workflows for tasks including Design of Experiments (DOE) plus new support resources enable new users to get up-to-speed, fast. Project management features deliver more effective collaboration in environments where knowledge is always evolving. Added analytics and interactivity give users a deeper understanding of relationships in their data, resulting in smarter decisions.
“These six-monthly milestone releases summarise on-going collaboration with customers during which we continually deliver enhancements and gather feedback to guide the next development,” explains Ben Pellegrini, CEO of Intellegens. “That process can be seen in this 2024 Spring Release with many detailed user-driven changes that together ease adoption of machine learning and accelerate critical experimental work in real R&D environments.”
Key enhancements include:
- Enabling faster learning with enhanced context-sensitive help, new user resources, straightforward re-use of successful DOE configurations, easier specification of real-world experimental constraints, and slicker handling of large datasets.
- Increased support for fast-moving collaborative R&D teams, with a new project management system, model revision management, and analysis of model history. Such tools enable teams to work together, focusing experimental programs to achieve their objectives with fewer experiments.
- Smart new visualisations that enable users to extract deeper insights when exploring the relationships between properties, and that improve the user’s interactivity with charts and data. These enable good decisions and better results.
Faster learning, fewer experiments, better results – these benefits are already in evidence at Alchemite™ customers who have been trying out the new features across a wide range of applications. Recent and upcoming Intellegens webinars showcase examples of use in materials development, research into innovative oligonucleotide therapies in the life sciences, formulation of inks, and optimising advanced 3D printing processes.
