Alchemite™ 2024 Spring Release powers R&D productivity
The 2024 Spring Release of the Alchemite™ machine learning software is now out, focused on enhancing the productivity of R&D teams in chemicals, materials, formulated products, life sciences, and manufacturing. Optimised workflows for tasks including Design of Experiments (DOE) plus new support resources enable new users to get up-to-speed, fast. Project management features deliver more effective collaboration in environments where knowledge is always evolving. Added analytics and interactivity give users a deeper understanding of relationships in their data, resulting in smarter decisions.
Webinar: AI for digital manufacturing
This webinar will share experience from an innovative digital manufacturing project that is applying Artificial Intelligence to enable self-optimisation of 3D printing processes. The results are faster, more cost-effective manufacturing, and reduced waste throughout the production lifecycle. You will learn about state-of-the-art LCD-driven 3D printing from Photocentric. Intellegens will show how its Alchemite™ Machine Learning software is being applied to extract insights from process data, enabling material and process decisions to be optimised and, ultimately, supporting an autonomous manufacturing process. A key focus of the project is making these processes more sustainable and circular.
Report explores impact of AI on Science
The Royal Society, the UK’s national academy of sciences, has released an insightful study of the impact of AI in science. Intellegens CSO Gareth Conduit was among the experts who participated in roundtable discussions as input to the report. At Intellegens we were pleased to see that the report’s key recommendations included the need to “prioritise the accessibility and usability of AI tools”. This is a goal we are right behind!
Interactive analytics help users mine data
One valuable new feature in the recent Alchemite™ 2024 Spring Release is enhanced interactivity with data and plots in the software. For example, ‘Property vs Property’ and ‘Predicted vs Actual’ plots are easy ways to visualise datasets, understanding the relationships between properties and between real experimental data points and those predicted by machine learning. Now, users can click on any data point in these plots and instantly see the underlying data and summary statistics. This enables them, for example, to easily identify outlier points in the data and understand what is behind them.
Blog series – DOE made easy
Check out the Intellegens Blog for our recent series of articles on ‘DOE made easy‘. We began by exploring why organisations use Design of Experiments. Then we discussed what limits the effectiveness of conventional DOE. Finally, we explained how machine learning can power an alternative approach, adaptive DOE, that not only makes DOE much easier to apply in practice, but can also deliver better results.
Recorded webinar – DOE made easy
See how machine learning-led Design of Experiments (DOE) guides experimental programs in just a few button-clicks. This reduces the number of experiments by 50-80%, cutting the time and cost required to achieve R&D objectives. This webinar demonstrates the Alchemite™ software, with its simple task-oriented user interface, designed for scientists. Find out how to quickly prepare data, generate targeted experiments using an adaptive design of experiments approach, and apply graphical analysis tools to extract valuable additional insights from the data. Case study examples show how Alchemite™ has been applied in formulation development, chemistry, and materials research.
White Paper – Life science data analytics
From small molecule drug discovery to oligonucleotide manufacturing, machine learning is turning life science research data from a time-sink into a resource that accelerates innovation. Read the white paper to find out how.
