Intellegens welcomes Sean Kiernan as our new Chief Commercial Officer
Sean Kiernan joins the Intellegens leadership team with responsibility for sales, marketing, and commercial relations with customers and partners. Sean will apply nearly forty years of experience in technology businesses. His focus will be ensuring that Intellegens engages even more effectively with enterprises in chemicals, materials, FMCG, and beyond.
Having started his career in development and technical support, Sean has held sales, commercial, and leadership positions with companies providing solutions in areas including intelligence analysis, information management, and management of complex business processes. A common theme of his work has been building teams and processes that find a match between the advanced technical capabilities of software solutions and the needs of business customers, and then support those customers as they adopt and successfully apply the technology.
“There is so much buzz around AI,” comments Sean, “but what’s exciting about Intellegens is its focus on the practical application of machine learning to challenges like experimental design or formulation development that are vital to some of the world’s most innovative businesses. It’s been fascinating to learn about the successful projects underway with leaders in materials, chemicals, and FMCG. But it is also clear that there are so many similar businesses who could benefit from what Intellegens does.”
