Webinar: Construction chemicals and structural materials
In this webinar, we’ll draw on experience of real-world projects to demonstrate how Alchemite™ machine learning can be applied to applications including design of of new concrete formulations and development of steels and other alloys for structural applications. Key aims are to improve material properties while reducing energy consumption to support net zero objectives.
Machine learning proposes new superalloy
A new paper in Data-Centric Engineering has applied machine learning to propose a novel superalloy for additive manufacturing applications, which was subsequently experimentally-validated. Intellegens CSO Dr Gareth Conduit is a co-author, along with collaborators at the University of Cambridge, University of Sheffield, and Rolls-Royce.
New extended demonstration video
In a new extended (12 min) demonstration video on the Intellegens website, Dr Joel Strickland from our Science Team walks through a complete workflow for a typical use-case of the Alchemite™ machine learning software – adaptive design of experiments for formulation development.
New software feature - optimising categorical inputs
The Intellegens development team is already building on the new technology delivered in last month’s Alchemite™ 2022 Autumn Release. That introduced greatly enhanced handling of categorical data. A new capability now enables users to identify the best parameters to use in a new experiment, even when these are distinct categories such as the supplier name, batch number, or scan path type in the pictured additive manufacturing example.
Blog: Formulating our way towards net zero
On this month’s blog we discuss the role that machine learning can play in meeting net zero objectives, particularly through optimising formulations and processes to reduce energy consumption in the production or use of construction materials or manufactured products.
Connect with us at Future Labs Live (Raleigh, NC)
Meet us at next month’s Future Labs Live USA event in Raleigh, NC. We’ll be at booth 512 in the exhibition discussing how machine learning enables you to get more from your lab data and to design experiments to achieve your objectives with greatly-reduced experimental workloads.
Next Alchemite™ Focus Group
The next Alchemite™ Focus Group will be held in early December. This event is exclusively for Alchemite™ user organisations or those planning a project that will use Alchemite™. It provides an opportunity to learn from the experiences of other users, to find out what is new and coming soon in the Alchemite™ software, and to provide input to Intellegens development plans.
New opportunities at Intellegens
We’ve recently posted new job opportunities in our development, sales, and marketing teams on our website. Check them out and get in touch to join our growing team.
