Upcoming webinar with Lucideon (9th Nov)
We’re pleased to confirm the next Intellegens webinar, with guest speaker Dr Richard Padbury from materials technology experts, Lucideon. We’ll hear how machine learning is being integrated into the Lucideon approach to research applications including controlled release drug delivery, battery technology, ceramics, polymers, and complex formulations.
Tuesday, 9th November // 4pm UK time // 11am US Eastern.
New analytics feature and faster design of experiments
We’re constantly enhancing the Alchemite™ Analytics software based on feedback from our customers. Among the new features this month is a sensitivity plot, which shows how each input impacts the variables for any predicted row in your data (e.g., a potential formulation or material). This helps to identify the most productive routes for future investigation. Another enhancement to Alchemite™ makes it faster to setup and run studies to improve the model when wishing to explore variations in a subset of many inputs – a common scenario in design of experiments.
Recorded webinar with NASA
There was a lot of interest in this month’s webinar with Dr Josh Stuckner from NASA Glenn Research Center, who discussed recent work to validate Alchemite™ machine learning for two applications – a heat exchanger component and a shape memory alloy. If you missed the session, you can now read a summary and view the recording on our website.
Consultation sessions – could Alchemite™ work for you?
We’ve been running a series of 2 minute videos on our social media feeds in which Alexis from our Alchemite™ Success team demonstrates some of the analytics features of the Alchemite™ platform. Scroll to the bottom of the Alchemite™ Analytics page on our website to catch up on the videos that you’ve missed. And connect with us on LinkedIn to see more content like this as we post it.
Alchemite™ Focus Group (2nd Nov)
The next Alchemite™ Focus Group will be held on 2nd November. This invitation-only event is for project leaders of teams using Alchemite™ or those planning projects that will use the technology. Share experiences, get the latest updates, and provide input to Intellegens development plans. The first meeting had attendees from sectors including material production, aerospace, chemicals, formulated products, printing technology, batteries, and food & beverage. If you’re interested in participating, get in touch.
Connect with us at…
We’ll be at the following events in the coming weeks:
3rd Nov. Ansys Material Intelligence Day (online event). We’ll be presenting on machine learning for data-driven materials development.
3rd-4th Nov. Advanced Engineering (Birmingham, UK). Intellegens CTO Dr Gareth Conduit will present in the workshop on connected manufacturing.
16th-19th Nov. Formnext 2021 (Frankfurt, Germany). We’ll be attending the leading European event for Additive Manufacturing.
There’s a desk waiting for our next team member
At Intellegens, it’s great that we are now able to spend more time together in our Cambridge office. And we have a desk waiting for the next team member. If you know someone who would be great for one of our growing list of open positions – for example, as a Front-end React Developer – then we’d love to hear from them. Hurry before that cup of tea goes cold! (Coffee also available).
