Recorded webinar – Machine learning for material and component design

  • Events
  • in: Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials, Superalloys

With example projects from NASA Glenn Research Center

Development organisations in engineering, manufacturing, and materials need to design new and improved materials and components and to wring every drop of performance from existing systems. They want to learn from all available data to optimise properties, while minimising expensive testing and simulation. In this webinar, we introduce and demonstrate Alchemite™ – a novel machine learning method that achieves these goals. And we hear about a project to validate and apply Alchemite™ at NASA Glenn Research Center.

First broadcast: 21st September 2021.

Guest speaker: Dr Josh Stuckner, Materials Informatics Scientist, NASA Glenn Research Center.

Intellegens speaker: Dr Tom Whitehead, Head of Machine Learning.
