It’s the time of year to look back, look forwards, and for gifts. Sometimes, the best gift is discovering something you already have. In that spirit, over the next week, we’re sharing 12 features (one for each day of Christmas!) that were new in Alchemite™ this year. Maybe you’ll spot something useful that you missed first time around.
Here’s the first four features – all of them offering exciting new ways to access or analyze Alchemite™ machine learning.

1. Alchemite™ Suite
We started the year with a bang, with the launch of our new Alchemite™ Suite. A series of apps ensure that individual researchers get fast, easy access to the specific tools they need while enabling projects and results to be shared across the R&D team.
2. Property analytics
The Alchemite™ Suite launch also introduced a series of new analytics that help you dig into key relationships – for example, between process parameters and properties in a formulation or material. These insights help you to understand the insights into your data captured by the ML model and to apply these to focus-in on your research targets.
3. DOE analytics
We’ve continued to add new analytics throughout they year – a number of them focused on smoothing the experimental design process. For example, the new DOE Profiler helps users to understand why ML has proposed particular experiments, and what difference it might make if assumptions were tweaked.
4. Alchemite™ in Excel!
And now we’ve added a whole new way to access and apply the power of the Alchemite™ machine learning method. You don’t even need to leave your familiar Excel spreadsheets! A new Microsoft-approved Excel add-on puts Alchemite™ just a click away, fully integrated within Excel. You can instantly generate machine learning models from your research data, apply those models for prediction and design of experiments, and use familiar analytical capabilities within Excel to gain data insights.
Keep an eye out for social media posts (or, if you’re a registered Alchemite™ user, our customer update email) to see all 12 of our highlighted features. If you are an Alchemite™ user, we hope you enjoy using these enhancements in 2026 – and look out for more. If you’re not yet a user – why not try out Alchemite™ to see how it could help you?
In either case, we send you Season’s Greetings and best wishes for the year ahead.
