1. What is your position at Intellegens and what does your role entail?
I have been the Financial Controller at Intellegens since 2019 and work part time. My role covers all areas of finance including transactions, forecasting, budgeting and reporting. I also deal with other HR and administrative aspects. It’s very busy and varied, which is what I enjoy.
2. What is your favourite part about working at Intellegens?
The team spirit here is brilliant and everyone plays an important role. On a day to day level the variety makes each day unique and interesting. However my favourite part is the sense that we are building strong foundations for future growth.
3. What is your career/education background?
I am a member of CIMA having qualified in 2004. I previously worked for two technology companies in Cambridge working from start up through various acquisition processes. Having taken a career break to raise a family, I am delighted to be back working in an exciting fast growing technology company.
4. What is something that you think makes Intellegens stand out from other companies?
The focus on the customer and being flexible and responsive to their requirements. The speed with which changes can be decided and implemented make this a dynamic environment to work in and the results are hopefully felt by our customers.
5. What does a perfect day look like to you?
It would be a day spent with my family. Starting with breakfast at our favorite farm shop cafe and then on for a day at the beach with sand castles, ice cream and fish and chips before watching the sunset.
