1. How long have you been working at Intellegens and what is your role?
I joined Intellegens as HR and Talent Acquisition Manager, a new role, in July 2022 to help support the business through its next exciting chapter. Since joining I have reviewed and implemented a number of processes, benefits and systems to streamline the people focus, whilst helping the team settle into our nice new shiny office.
2. What is your favourite thing about working at Intellegens?
The supportive and collaborative nature of the team. Having left my previous employer after 10 years it was important to find the right company, and I have not been disappointed in my decision to join Intellegens. The kindness everyone shows each other is remarkable.
3. What is your career/educational background?
My initial career was in recruitment which helped me identify my want to help and support people. This led me into HR, and in 2021 I decided it was time to complete my CIPD HR qualification. I am one of the few people at Intellegens without a degree, but this has not held me back and I encourage everyone to continue focusing on their personal development and growth.
4. What is something that you think makes Intellegens stand out from other companies?
Everyone’s dedication to company and client success. Regardless of roles, everyone strives to support, push forward, and enhance the business and its offerings to our clients.
5. What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
Family and friends mean the world to me, it’s what keeps me focussed and grounded. My son started primary school in September 2023 and we are due our second child in January 2024, so depending on when this is read will depend on how much extra time is available for other out of work activities!
